QuickSmartDSP is EV’s built-in digital signal processing system that allows:

Can I expand the system later?

Yes. EV speakers can be easily expanded by:

  • Adding subwoofers

What is the difference between a powered (active) and a passive speaker?

A powered speaker has a built-in amplifier — you simply plug it in and connect your audio source. A passive speaker requires a separate external amplifier to drive it. All EV speakers in our lineup (EVOLVE, EVIVA, EVERSE) are powered, making them convenient and easy to set up .
